One of our team of marine scientists will walk you through the daily task of servicing and collecting data from the Seabins at a harbour site and at the Ocean Health Lab.
Servicing consists of checking the unit is operating correctly and emptying the catch in preparation for a data collection.
Once we have spread the Seabin catch on a tarp, we then apply the Seabin data analysis protocols and if time permits, guests may help the team to sort/count/record the contents to contribute to the Seabin database and to the Pollution Index™.
