Seabin Online Education Program

THIS IS FOR THE CHANGE MAKERS OF TOMORROW

Seabin Foundation is about to inspire change by sharing the ins and outs or the Seabin City Program! The vision is to reach the youth & change makers of tomorrow, globally. In today’s world, sharing knowledge efficiently requires a blend of digital content, for maximum reach, combined with tangible and hands-on applicability.

Appeal Goals

Our team is determined to bring together interactive and practical content. We are building a one-of-a-kind Seabin online education program, made of seven core units about the Seabin tech, its operations, data, and its tireless mission for cleaner oceans.

This course will deliver on those and much more, and we need your support to make it the absolute best!

To bring this project to another level, we are partnering with water sports athletes and two inspiring organisations committed to mentoring the youth from around the world.

Here’s what’s happening now, and what you can do to bring it to life better and stronger with us:

1

Firstly, the Seabin team will share with the world what it does best, via short and clear informative videos.

2

Secondly, each video will be accompanied by short interactive written lessons.

3

Then, each unit will offer a possibility to dive deeper into the concepts introduced, encouraging anyone to become a leader, mentor, or even an ambassador with us.

4

In addition to all the above, adepts of aquatic sports will be presented with possibilities to combine their role as athletes, with the preservation of marine environments.

5

The online course is designed to align with key concepts from high school curriculums, so that it can be adopted by teachers in part or in full.

6

We need you! The seed funding for this project is secured to film the core 7 units, but we want to make it BIG and literally change the tides for clean waterways globally!

7

Donate today to make sure we can make this program wildly interactive, pro-actively engaging, and awe-inspiring for clean oceans, rivers, beaches, and lakes!

8

Together, we CAN make this Earth clean again, and this course is the tool we will use to work together at it! Join us on this mission by donating now.

9

Thank you for being here, reading about our work, and considering supporting it!

Appeal Overview

Seabin Foundation is producing an online education program, adapted for international school curriculum requirements of four major English speaking countries, in hope it may benefit many more nations too.

Through videos, illustration, quiz, and suggested games, group discussions and assignments, the program will explore:

  • the Seabin technology
  • data monitoring
  • citizen science
  • marine plastic pollution
  • and existing pathways for solutions
  • This project is possible thanks to the funds raised by the Ocean Sheroes, four passionate athletes and ocean lovers, who rowed across the Pacific Ocean in 2021 over 38 days. The program is expected to be launched April 2024.
